Kris Kindle

I've a few Kris Kindles coming up. First is tomorrow! I thought I'd find something before now but i really haven't a clue when it comes to stuff like this. The people i picked out are all blokes and the presents have to under a tenner.

Anyone got any suggestions? Did you ever get a Kris kindle present you thought was prettty cool? Ever get one that was just downright crap? I need help please! Thanx

I got a robot monkey kit last year on the Boards.ie one.

That was pretty cool... but I never got around to building it... but one day soon my robot monkey will walk and crush those who dare oppose me!

Thanx for the replies so far. Robot monkey eh? I'd be afraid i'd keep that for myself. lol. Anyway yeah i forgot to mention, one of them has to be a 'funny' present. Thought it sounded a bit lame myself but i didn't make the rules. Any suggestions appreciated.

Theres loadsa gadgets and junk in burtons or river island. Most would work for guys.
A joke present that might have a use is always good.
It not serious, just buy whatever

Tomayto Tomato lol. Yeah I wanted to get something jokey and gadgety that had a use too. But i wasn't sure where to look. The stuff in the gadget shop for under a tenner wasn't the may west tbh. I'll look in Burtons and river island and urban outfitters. thanx.

may have been a joke but it doesn't actually sound like a bad idea for the 'funny' present.

I thought the whole point of the token-gift (ie a tenner) Secret Santa was to take the piss?

Last year for the office one I got a girl a copy of First Knight on DVD and an enormous, plastic battle-sword. This year I've bought a guy at work this:

but a kris kindle is like a secret santa set up where instead of buying everyone in your family/work a cheap pressie you put the names in a hat and get the person whom you draw a fairly decent perssie.

I hate Kris Kindles, I always participate grudgingly. I mean, why the hell should I buy a present for someone I don't really know or like in exchange for a crappy cheap and most likely tacky present from someone I don't really know or like? I managed to avoid any of them this year, ahahahaha

for fellas next do some nice little things for under a tenner as do top shop. I got my boss for kris kindle and wanted to get her a mug wit her name on but when i went to the square the other evening i couldnt find one anywhere!! when i dont want one I always see them so now im stuck

People call it kris krindle and Kris kindle because apparantly that is what it is called.
It is not called Kris Kringle because he is a man that some hold as being santa clause, a man - not an act which involves giving presents.

I got a couple of those Irish Beer Buddy bottle openers last year for guys at work and it went down a storm.
I think they arrived in 3 days or something seriously fast like that.

Hey,
I have to buy a KrisKindle gift for a work colleague and it has to be handed in reeeeeally soon. I only started working in the company 3 months ago so I don't know the lady well at all. She's about 27, is fairly outgoing, but I don't think I can get her a joke kinda present.
Any ideas?
