    Howdy all,

I'm trying to remove the starter motor of a 96 petrol VW Polo.
Has anybody had and experience of removing one of these. It's in a real poxy location. Tis at the back of the engine underneath the carb. There 3 bolts attaching it to the engine and a y bracket as well. One of the bolst for the y bracket is in such a poxy position I can't get the pressure to get a turn on the bolt. The starter is loose and ready to come out. But there is some sort of housing behind it that stopping me pulling the motor all the way out.
    it's sooooooo annoying.
Anyone got any good tips on removing one of these.

    Cheers,
    Chris.
