Does anyone have any idea how captain assignment effects the game? And how to find the best player to make captain? I usually look for the best combination of teamwork and mentality, but I know people who look at teamwork alone.

Captain actually does nothing at all.

It may seem a bit strange, but it's purely cosmetic.

You serious? That's pathetic. It'd be cool if the whole team gained a small percentage of the captain's mentality or something.

How do you know that, btw?

haha, seriously though, it came straight from the horses mouth, Seabass himself. You can find it written in the new guide that was released for PES5 as well if you like.
