Setting up ant in xp

    any one have a walkthrough on this i am so confused?

    • Download the zip
    • Extract it to, say, c:\ant
    • Add ANT_HOME environment variables to point to c:\ant *
    • Add c:\ant\bin to the end of your existing system PATH environment variable (make sure there is a ; before c:\ant\bin) *

    * System Environment Variables on Win XP .. right click on My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Environment Variables. Clicn New (under System Variables, not user variables) for the ANT_HOME one, and just double click on Path to add your ;c:\ant\bin at the end.

    That should be enough

    If your using Eclipse Ant is built into it and you can run it from the UI.
