How well do you know each other?

When you surf on boards.ie do you build up relationships with each other, do you get to know each other's little quirks etc, are do you just extract info, vent your frustrations for eg. How much people reading this have heard of me before and from where?

I'd get to know people more on #boards.ie because it's live chat. People can be so much for different on the IRC channel than in the forums.

I suppose I remember little bits about users, but I wouldn't say I know anyone to any real degree (with the exception of the people I know in real life).

Don't bothere getting to know anyone

Not at it long enough. I'd try an avoid getting to know anyone too well. On this forum anyway, it's too general and too opinionated. It seems to me that it can be a bit of a dumping ground sometimes, but thats what it's all about too, eh?
Maybe on the Music one or Sport one (if I could get on it) where you can chat about a common interest.

Know very few

I know 1 or 2 people on boards, but have met and befriended several people on an Irish motoring forum I subscribe to, and have spent a couple of weekends away with a few of them.

Funnily enough, I was talking to a very attractive young lady outside Whelans on Friday night, and during our conversation discovered that she is a regular Boards subscriber and meets with other users she didn't previously know on a regular basis!

Have never met any boardsies in 'real' life apart from friends i knew beforehand. Recognise many users and remember little things about them just kinda stays with me unconsciously like.....
'Know' most posters on the UCD forum, i remember what theyre studyin etc. etc.

Sandals... u go to Trinity and often post on TCD, also you stay in the halls coz when i was visiting my mate i thought of u [not in a weird way just thinkin of other peeps who go to trinners] :v:

Dont know them personally but I know the guys from the soccer forum as im sure they would know most f the guys that post there regularily.

As for the other people, No I only really post on soccer or film. Very rarely someting else

Know a few in passing from various forums, but none really well, probably because I tend to dip in and out of various forums if I see something that interests me, rather than being a regular at just one or two specific forums. Don't know anyone off-Boards, although that might change if I can make it to the Santa Cause.

Been here a while so I get a feel for most of the more well known posters' personalities.
Know quite a few people from real life who post on the UCD board.
I think I can safely say no one on boards who hasn't met me knows what I'm like irl.

I generally post in after hours and PI and I am fairly familiar with most of the regular posters there, doubt they know me though, as I haven't been around very long.
