    Hello all,

Just a quick message to let you all know that Zed FM/Scrollside have lodged papers seeking to appeal to the Supreme Court the decision of the High Court to uphold the awarding of the Alternative Rock radio licence to Phantom FM.

These appeal was sought today, the last available day for such an appeal to be lodged.

Obviously we are dissapointed at the continuing actions of Zed FM/Scrollside and will be issuing a further statement in the coming days. We will of course keep everyone posted on www.phantomfm.com when we get further details.

    Regards,

Will this delay the launch of Phantom by long?

it seems as Bob Geldof, Nial Stokes and Co. can't take a hint.

    Make Zed FM History.

I'm sorry, can you just clarify that zed fm are actually questioning a decision that has been passed twice?

You cannot be serious?

I must ask, and I could be biased as I am a big phantom fan, and a friend of Simons, but do Zed fm think that any of this will increase their popularity?

I mean, lets say the decision, thats has been passed twice, was over turned, and Zed fm where granted a licence, their behaviour over recent months would hardly boost their ratings. If anything they are strengthening the loyalty of the Phantom Fm listeners.

Bad move Zed, you could have lost gracefully and reapplied in time.

Right now, my opinion of you is that

I'm no legal expert but usually H court decisions don't take that long when the case is brought up. So it may be sooner than you think. There's something fishy about the whole saga. It looks like a dead-ender by Zed and co but still they peruse it....hmmm

This is an example of bad form at its ugliest. Accept defeat and move on... God knows that an area such as the Midlands could do with more competition!! What would be wrong with regrouping and forming a great station down there?! The Dublin public want Phantom, the BCI want Phantom in Dublin and obviously the judiciary want Phantom here too.. build a bridge guys. This dead horse has had it as far as I can see.

    She speaks the truth...
