Back to the thread, any news of snow from Sligo? Well, "news".

Snowed then it fecking rained, took me 20 mins to scrape the crap of my car windscreen.

Thanks for the links billy, they're much appreciated. :) And the radio link just in time for the five o'clock bulletin too! 62 mph is a pretty high wind speed for what I was told would be a mild night. It seems to have gotten some snowfall within the last few hours, especially now, assuming the maps are correct.

    Cheers again for the links!

I've seen cars on the street across from our appartment which haven't been cleaned in three days. They've accumulated a nice little covering of snow. The owners would want to move them before the real stuff hits.

PS: Everyone laughs at me when I tell them that it's my first winter in Montreal. Everyone. I take that to be a bad thing......

Quite a bit of snow in Galway this morning. A few inches on the car when I woke up. It's like a blizzard out there at the moment. I love winter..

    Dead quiet ;p

I don't have any problem with it and even when I first moved here I didn't think much of it.

In other news it has started snowing again \o/

It took me 15 minutes to clean the snow off my car this morning ... I went inside & came out 5 mins later & there was an inch on the car again!

Surprisingly, I made it from Navan to Ranelagh in 1.25 hours [which is fantastic @ this time of the year & with it being snowing]!

Was hoping the roads would have heavy snow on them, so I could pull a snow day ... but no

Was snowing V heavy on way home from work last night (Cavan). Roads were really treacherous this morning on way back to work (3 cars in hedge, not mine thankfully)
It's snowing as heavy as ever & I've a (what normally takes) 1hour journey home this evening!!!

I'll be amazed if I ever get there

(Besides driving, I love the snow:))

Ditto. It was snowing when I got in last night at about 1. And I see there's some more falling now. I can't wait for work to finish. I smell a massive snowball fight with the local kids. They can never beat me! :D

Yeah I was gonna ask that myself. Plus I'd love to know how SherryFitz or whoever put a gloss on that when they're selling a unit :)

Anyway (whilst it's not great for everyone) I love snow and the cold. I love anything that isn't 'typical Irish weather'.
