Anyone made use of a website to buy an LCD / Plasma / even CRT TV and got it delivered OK?

    Appreciate any sites, particularly looking for a mid-priced 23 - 26" LCD.

    Cheers

    Fatboy..

I bought 3 19" LCD monitors from http://www.pixmania.com there at the beginning of the year and had absolutely no trouble with them. Now, I know theres a whole other thread on here at the moment based on how bad pixmania are, but Ive certainly had no bother with them.

Id certainly give the thumbs up to pixmania without question. Iv bought atleast 13 things off them over 3-4 years, i have had deliverys gone missing, but when i told them about it-they shipped one over 24hr service and refunded my shipping and ten percent of the value of the goods. Apart from that solid performance!

I bought a 26" Samsung LCD tv from Pixmania earlier this year and have no complaints. They were by far the cheapest retailer at the time and the delivery took two days.

    Same,

Bought a 26" LG LCD TV from Pixmania last month,

No problems here. Excellent service and product.

dabs.com have very good prices...have never used them myself but they seem to have a good reputation

Have you considered Dell LCD-TV's?, they're far better value for money in comparison to other brands and are a reputable company to boot, I bought the 19" model (€448) from the last week for my Xbox 360 and I'm very pleased.

Dabs are also very good. Bought a huge printer/scanner off them over a year ago and it arrived 2 days later. Fantastic service!

    OK here my two pence

Komplett.ie - Have shopped with them for 3 years now I find there service excellent - basically anytime I have had something go wrong I have sent it back and they have replaced without quibble - ( quibble is that a word ? ). They might not be the cheapest but I rather have that bit of service especially when dealing with items that cost over a grand.

Dabs - After a bad experience I stopped dealing with them, in short they had no after sales service and when things go wrong they go horribly wrong

tried looking online for a CRT tv, cheapest flat tube... found ShopIreland... went to order a nice wee 28" tv (will do me, got a 32" CRT already), yet it all ships via Amazon from the UK and tellys aparrently are too gib to ship.. home grown website, as usual, promising much and delivering very little of any significant value.

Never did see the point to shopIreland myself...

www.technikdirekt.de have a good selection of TVs, but €80 delivery rate kind of pushes their prices a wee bit higher, although their prices are still pretty good.
Those Dell TVs look like decent value ATM, but the refresh rates are a tad high for my liking...
