Well if no one can see you and you can lock your door screw it :D, have a sleep. I slept for 2 hours at school once on some gym mats, was lovely :).

nip to the shop and buy a can of red bull and a pack of skittles. throw the skittles into the red bull, ulp it back it will buzz you up for a few hours ;-)

LOL :D can't unfortunately, my Director sits right behind me although surely the way my head keeps crashing into my keyboard every time I nod off must be giving it away

I just got up and went to the shops as I was just about to fall asleep. Told everyone I'd get some choc biscuits so I'd have something with a cup of tea.:p

I used to work nights and used to be very quite but one night I just couldn't stay awake.Even though I had about 5 cups of coffee I dozed off. All I remember is that as I lay with my head on the keyboard the security guard put his hand on on my shoulder and by jaysus that I wake up and feel alert! Got a good 2 hrs in though!! God I hated night work.

/\er.....there's several things I'd like to know how you managed to do to 'go on the internet' whilst driving a big lorry!

Falling asleep is the best...I have the technique for getting a few minutes in without the teacher seeing in school down to a 'T'

i only work as a waitress, so there's no chance of 'falling asleep' on the job, but i do find myself noddin off in class sometimes, esp fri mornings after thu nights

My head keeps falling forward in class these days. Thank God a lot of my teachers dont seem to mind as they know I can pay attention even when I have my head on the table and my eyes closed...

Have come close in one or two of my lectures this year... hard to concentrate when the room is dim and warm and the lecturers voice is low...

What's wrong with you people? wake the f**k up. if you are in work, you are being paid to WORK,not sleep.

Notice the IF there :) and anyway, you can be forgiven in college when you have a load of boring lectures in a row,all abstract, useless topics to boot :)

Can you not engage in some mischief at work? should keep you awake.

Caffeine is fine if you just want to stay awake, but I find when I'm studying it totally kills my ability to concentrate

If you work in an office like me with colleagues who work on different floors, go the loo and bring your phone with you. Set the alarm for 15 mins time, lock the door and you'll be fresh as a daisy after your nap!

If anyone asks.....'Oh I was just helpin Eileen upstairs with a query'!
