Nick Names.

well I get mine from the term "beat" also known as beatnik as it was later coined, I am a 'beat' essentially...the writing I do and the way I think about life and live my life fits into the category, I picked it all up from the original Beat himself, Jack Kerouac. He coined the phrase Beat, in later years the press, reporters, journalist types turned the phrase into a term that was used for all young people of that era who fit a certain steroetype, they were called beatnik's , a term that Jack Kerouac detested and refused to be associated with for being a 'beat" and a Beatnik are two very different things indeed.

Allen Ginsberg and Neal Cassady. They changed a generation and opened many door's to the way life is, or could be today.
