safari south africa

    have asked this before but as my Summer Hoildays are coming up fast Id like to know if anyone has been on safari in Africa before or just been there as Im heading there this year and would like to know what or where is the places to go and see.
    Going to a friends Farm and they do alot of hunting there so will be shooting some of the local wild life..
    all views are welcome.....

    hunting them wouldnt be the problem the fun is always in the chase.Id have to admit though that i do like to nibble on them now and then some parts are tastier than others but here is not the time nor the place for such talk.
    Im trying to find out about the local wild life and the seanic beauty, Im sure Ill taste the locals at some point on the hoilday though.

    I lived in Africa for a long time and visited South Africa a bit, it is by the way the most beautiful place on earth and you won't want to come back.
    Are you holidaying solely in South Africa or travelling around a bit? I was never on Safari in South Africa more Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia (where I lived) if you're moving around a bit I'd recommend Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and the Chobe in Botswana.

    On another note don't even think of leaving SA without visiting Cape Town and Table Mountain.

    Ooooh getting all nostalgic!
