I just got an acoustic guitar recently & I'm looking for some easy songs to play on it, like 'Seven Nation Army' especially the start of it:D

I like a broad variety of music within the Rock genre, anything from Alternative to Punk so any suggestions welcome!

buy eric clapton unplugged.. it won't be easy, but i find if you challenge yourself from the offset, then you'll reap the rewards if you put in the hardwork..

    Nirvana - polly
Pixies - where is my mind?
Bob Dylan - Knocking on heaven's door
    Johnny Cash - Hurt
    Oasis - Wonderwall(And most others)
    R.E.M - Hurt

Although I hate hearing people play these I think they are good to start out with.

    You're a bad man.

Learn to play a 12 bar blues, and Love Me Do by The Beatles.

Well ya simple gotta have the orginal smoke on the water by deep purple. Also it depends on how simple ya want it cos ya could go for things like mary had a little lamb or the Bach interlude in "Rock your socks".

Spends some time on it and try and figure out some songs for yourself, it pays off.

    Eye of the tiger
    Feelin' good - muse
Layla - Eric Clapton (get the simple acoustic version)
Theres a good few simple U2, foo fighters, Oasis, Audioslave, Coldplay, etc, etc.

TBH the list is endless. The one thing to remember is not to doubt yourself. Just go for and don't give up.

Neil Young songs, a lot of them are pretty easy, get you used to chord changes and there are some trickier bits in them to give you a bit of a challenge when you feel you're ready.
