ADware removal and scan/remove only anti-virus

So two questions

What's the best/most efficient and above all FREE adware remover going?

And is there an efficient, scan/remove only anti-virus thats free? I hate having something that needs to use up resources all of the time....

No worse virus than Norton to be honest.

As for spyware theres no one solution. You have to to run a couple of them, as different ones detect different threats. Spybot, Spy Blaster, Adware, XCleaner would be my main ones. Of course Zone Alarm and AVG aswell.

Good point.

At least go out and buy descent Anti virus protection like Avast!!
It scans files before they get into ure computer, Norton scans after they get in, when sometimes, when Norton finds the virus, the damage is already done!!!

norton is tripe.

for antispyware. hitman pro is your only man. Its an automated installer that runs through 5 or antispyware progs.

Best anti-virus programs are kaspersky or NOD32 - buy one of them and delete the awful Norton virus.
