    OK
u think its an obvious answer but not on my machine frown.gif

    i have a:
    p3 500
    192 ram
    Ge Force 2 mx PCI

i HAD a tnt2 (non ultra btw) agp

i upgraded the drivers to the latest release and i expected a whoppiong difference in CS and TF since i was previously getitng 20 and 12 fps in places

I was disgusted when ran Counter Strike
there is no difference at all
    still getting crappy fps
    15-30 in firefights
i didnt notice ANY increace in fps at all !!! frown.giffrown.gif

infact it feels worse on the Italy map in cs with 4 lads shooting on screen

    wots up with this ??

well ive got nearly the exact same spec, and i get 40 in firefights and a steady 70 in 840 * 680.

your CS graphics settings are obviously messed up then.
see the numerous threads in both CS and Technology for increasing fps in said game.

Well I don't know much about 3d cards,i own a tnt2 myself, and it should give better results than what your describing I think.
Make sure that their is no old drivers left over from previous cards?? Go to www.tweak3d.net i think, complements of Sev smile.gif
Then get a good clean install of drivers, and see how the gf2 works.
