    Hi,
How easy is it to change a dish from hotbird to astra ? I'm looking to attach a fta box or a sky box ? Am I right in thinking that fta and sky are on the same satellites Astra 19.2e ? Can it be done by hand or does a cheap sat finder make it much easier ? I had a look at http://monsterfm.com/engineering/pointdish.htm sounds complicated :(

There are lots of different Astra, it is a Comapny not a position

About twenty Sat positions can be picked up here. Most have a mix of FTA and Pay TV.

28.2E has a mix of FTA and PAY TV, most part of Sky UK/IRL platform.

13E has Sky Italia Pay TV and much FTA

19.2 Has much FTA and much French & German Pay TV.

The dish needs to move east and slightly down. Needs a lot of patience without a meter.

Even with a meter you need to look at "Quality" to fine tune dish (remove meter).

Unplug box from mains while connecting meter and / or LNB.
