memory expansion on Nokia 6230,6230i ?

    I think the Nokia 6230 and 6230i both come with a 32MB memory card.
    Can anyone tell me what size the memory cards are expandable to?
    And has anyone bought say a 1GB memory card for either phone and used the phone as an mp3 player?

    you can put up to 2GB in them, works fine. just have to organise the folders properly, check out expansys.ie and howardforums.com for more inof..

    I have 256Mb and use the phone as an Mp3 player. works very fine. You have to remember to format the memory card after you put it in. Have you got the usb cable? it is more stable to transfer mp3s with than bluetooth

    Does the usb cable come with the phone new?
    If not then I haven't got anything for the phone yet. Just started by seeing was it possible to expand memory card size etc.

    Thinkin I'll need 1GB memory card and a card reader.
    Is www.expansys.ie the cheapest place to pick up these?

    mobymemory.com is usually cheapest.
    usb cable doesn't come with nokias
