I'd say you'd be very lucky if you found anywhere cutting the prices at Christmas...

be careful if you really want one before Christmas.
Remember the huge shortages on PS2s a fea years ago?
I know there was one regarding chip shortages, but they may schedule a supply not big enough and will love all the hype and press they'll get over customers running around looking for PSPs.
I doubt prices will be cut before Christmas... more likely after Christmas in the new years sales if anything.

really? suppose it makes sense not to reduce such a fast selling item. guess ill pick one up in game hopefully :D anyone know bout stock in there? one guy told me id be lucky to get one for christmas and another told me theyll get more in late nxt week????

I was hard pressed getting mine at all; they're selling like hotcakes and I went around a load of shops in town on Friday before I finally found somewhere that sold them (only to get one with about fifty bright pixels  ), then returned it, got a new one checked it in the store and didn't see anything wrong, but I've seen it in a dark room this evening and there's one bright pixel :(

Anyway, yeah, buy one now or you may get it in the shorts coming up to Christmas.

Ther fact is that at the moment they are probably selling at a loss. Not only that but there is no competition so the prices won't come down for a year or so. Even if they do thats only a few quid you'll save insteads of having a psp now.

Wait until after christmas. I seriously doubt that Sony will drop the price especially when Chrimbo is a perfectly good oppurtunity to fleece the public with over priced duo memory sticks and the PSP is currently selling at a loss.
