probably some open source software that has been out there for years.

seriously - two of the most common windows password programs around date from 97 or earlier, the algorithms and tricks are better in the newer versions and computers are a lot faster too.

[edit]not sure I'd trust a download from that site either

it uses some opensource software to dump the password hash, and then they ask you to submit it for cracking.

i wouldn't trust them, read their privacy policy agreement.

think about it, what if you use the same password for your operating
system as you do for other online activity.

when you register with them for 'priority access' they expect all your personal details.
Passwords to be decrypted are added to a queue, however due to the number of requests received, it can sometimes take upto 48 hours for a password to be decrypted. This service is provided free of charge, on the basis that you accept there may be a delay of upto two days.

Alternativly, a priority service is provided where upon payment, your passwords will be placed at the front of the queue. In many cases this means that your passwords will be decrypted in less than 10 minutes.

    thats a good incentive. :p

searching for "Idea Capital Ltd" on http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ might yield some answers, as to whether or not its a scam.
