Has anybody gone to the Rathfarnham Casino? There's been a couple of posts about this but not from anybody who has actually gone there.

I have no connection to the place and this post is not a spam - there seemed to be some doubt about the previous posts!

Then why do you keep pimping this place???
I'm just wondering because I live in the Rathfarnham area and wouldn't mind heading down to check it out, what sort of tourneys do they do, any cash games???? Can't find much info on the website......

On Monday nights they have a €20+2 rebuy, rebuys cost a tenner. Usually about 20 players in this I think, most of them pretty unexperienced. I did a report on a visit a while ago but the search facility is not working. Basically, I was happy enough, but felt the dealers needed a bit more training particularly as regards side pots. But the place is well kitted out, and the dealers will be fine with a bit of experience. They do a skip a couple of blind level after the break but there is room for a bit of play before it. I have not been in 5 or 6 weeks so things may have changed a bit. Might pop along on Monday again. I will get details on the other tournies then and post them up.
