This would be something I would definetly go see. There's been no band that I've listened to more in the last 8 years!

It would be awesome if they played here.

Shows how crap this country really is that you have to petition to convince a band to play here.

If you read the rest of the thread you'd see that you don't have to petition Tool to play here. They've played here before and put on great shows. Petitioning never works for bands. Personally I think the amount and quality of gigs lately is the best we've ever had.

I'd be first in line, but would also bitch about the ticket price

Yes how good a country is can be judged by what bands play here. I think that when the UN are making out their annual reports these things are taken into consideration.

    Actually I prefer Tool.

Can a mod move this thread please because its really starting to annoy me?

This is just discussion on the band at this stage. This has nothing to do with Gigs/Events anymore. Rock/Metal is the place for it.

    As has been pointed out:

Tool arent touring, Tool generally play Ireland when they do tour, Tool would be the LAST band to listen to an online petition to play.

I ran it by Karl Hungus of Rock/Metal, he told me to put it here in no uncertain terms. He' d have f*ckin' apoplexy if someone moved it in there...
