    Hi guys,

I have a query, did any of you happen to see TomMcRae at Whelans (winter last year I think) and is it true he was a bit insulting towards the crowd, threatening to leave the stage if they didn't stop singing along/clapping/basically enjoying the gig?

    thanks

No idea. I did see him support Tori Amos a few months ago and I really enjoyed his set. Had a bit of funny banter indetween songs.

Got my ticket to see him on Sunday so I'll let you know if he's an ass. That would be a serious dissapointment although, I've wanted to see him live for a few years now and never got the opportunity. Anybody else going?

I saw him in the village a while back (maybe beginning of last year?) with his full band and he was bloody brillaint and seemed like he was in very good form. He even announced himself as a mopy sod on stage and he certainly didn't come across like an asshole.

Saw Tom 4 years ago in Whelans, then 3 years ago in the Village and recently at the Tori Amos gig iin Vicar Street. I doubt it very much he is the one you are thinking about who acted like a complete arse.
