I've had a good few injuries in my time, nothing too serious thankfully.
I remember diving in for a ball and the goalie kicking my head instead of the ball.
Well, I dont really remember as I was out for a while, but thats what happened.
Some say I have been the same since :p

I have a broken knee which I got snow boarding 9 months ago.

I haven't been to the hospital yet. I don't know why.

    It hurts.

playing football (the last time I ever really played competively), dodgy and dirty tackle from behind, everyone who saw it said he'd no intention or chance of getting the ball. Anyway, he kicked me full force in the back of the ankle, felt a white hot pain and hit the deck. Got up after a couple of minutes, tried to walk off the pain I felt, but knew straight away something was very wrong when I couldn't straighten my foot, it was just hanging down at an angle. So had to walk home, looked very strange as I had to bend my whole leg from the knee to accomodate the new angle my foot was at. Went to the doctor that evening who took one look at my calf which was totally swollen, ankle and foot actually looked fine apart from not being able to move my foot, and told me my achilles tendon was fooked! So went into hospital, turned out that kick had snapped the whole tendon and the reason my calf was so swollen was all the blood that should have been passing through my tendon was now pooling in it!
Anyway, longshot of it was I couldn't walk without a limp for over the next year, wasn't able to run properly for about the next 3 years, and even now 10 years on it still gets sore occasionaly when I'm cycling or jogging!
Still, I did get the guy back 2 years ago in my comeback kickabout, wasn't a dirty challenge, just slightly mistimed and caught his foot as he was flying past me, unfortunately for him my foot was going one way with the intention of kicking the ball out, he was going the other, end result was him doing a somersault which admitedly looked spectacular, apart from the fact he landed on his head :D . Funny thing about it is I didn't even realise it was the same guy until after the game when someone told me, apparently they spoofed him up after that telling him I was gunning for him. I wondered why anytime I came near him after the first tackle I got the ball so easy! :p

When I was 4 I jumped off a chair barefoot and landed on my dads car keys. One of the keys went straight through my foot crucifiction stylee.

Slipped at a school Disco aged 9 and knocked a front tooth out. Well not so much out as, through/inside my upper lip and up behind my nose.

I sprained my ankle 19 months ago skiing and I never did anything about it and it so fu<king sore. my own fault. not the worst injury though, tbh, I could think of a lot worse. Read up on the Darwin Awards and I'm sure you'll find the worst

Well, I've been lucky so far. Although I stuck a garden fork through my toe (as in I could see right through the hole in my toe) a few years back when I was raking up grass with it - it didn't hurt as much as I'd have thought. In fact, I kept raking for a few minutes more because I thought I'd only slightly nicked it (until I felt my shoe fill up with blood).

I cycled into a river by accident, and broke my neck/collarbone/something in that area. It was fun, because I got to ride in an ambulance, and be wrapped in tinfoil, but I was on alot of painkillers and had to choose what colour I wanted my room to be. It's now luminous green......

    fractured my right shoulder twice,
    fractured my collorbone,
    cracked and bruised ribs,
    torn my abdominal muscle twice,
    fractured my right ankle,
    over a dozen concussions
    and knocked out 5 times.

When I was about 8 I broke my arm just above my wrist. The bones were sort of like "^" that and I had to go to surgery to get it put back into place. The didnt have to cut me though, but when I got out I could see the hand marks where where they pulled and pushed it to get back into place.

Oh, and then the nurse woke me up at 3 in the morning to see if I could "wiggle my fingers".

When I was 12, I fell off my bike and slid across loose gravel. I skidded around some particularly rough ground and sliced my entire knee open on a jutting rock. The doctor had to spend ages picking out chips of stone from the wound. Most painful thing I've ever had. Took months to heal. Still have big scar.

Usual Rugby injuries that still bother me.

right ankle(collapses if I try to run), groin, elbow(locks), 2 broken ribs(still hurt after 15 yrs!!) and my shoulder is permenantly half dislocated. (all on right side which is what I get for being a loose head prop)

May 2005, got taken off my quad(polaris Predator google it, its sweet), did my superman impression into a clay bank at 45mph approx, compression fracture of my 7th vertebrae! wore my back brace faithfully for 3 months. A week before it came off........

I was selling my dirt bike and took it out for a spin to make sure it worked.......

Throttle stuck open and I had to dump it, 2 more broken ribs and a chip off a bone in my right arm,(oh and the wrath of mein spousen)

Apart from that Im in pretty good shape :D

have had too many to list, but one of the most memorable was taking a 9 iron to the head, just missed taking my eye out (thank god), had to get 45 stitches in 3 different layers as the cut went straight to my skull.......had to run home from park too and lost quite a lot of blood!

I drilled through my thumb with a screwdriver bit on a cordless drill. You could see through it. The pain was awful. Never did finish the decking...

Dislocated right shoulder doing weights the wrong way a good few years ago.

Stuck a pitch fork through my foot.

Jumped over a bed when i was younger and landed knee first on an upturned plug.
