I've just been asked by a mate - will US and Jap PSP's work here? Is there a 'region divide' of PAL / NTSC with Sonys new little toy? Will all games be region free??

    Thanks

There're only region restrictions on the movies. Games run fine. Dunno about audio UMDs.

Hardware OK?! Can I tell my mate that she's safe enough to buy a PSP anywhere... and play irish games on it - just not movies

as has been said, all PSP games will work on any PSP. it does not matter where the game is bought

PSP games in Xtravision go for €50 for all games, where as most other places (game, hmv, virgin etc) sell from €55 and up.

At the moment cd-wow.com is the cheapest place to order games from - The reason being is that there is a link posted in the Bargain Alerts forum which gets you 20% off. :D

Other sites I have ordered games from and would recommend:
    www.dvdboxoffice.com
    www.dvdcrave.com

dvdboxoffice are based in Canada and offer free shipping. dvdcrave are in Australia and charge for shipping but it's quite reasonable and works out cheaper than buying in shops.

    If you are shopping locally,

Gamestop are around €55, Xtra vision €50 and Argos in fact have some for €44.99 like NFSU etc.

Game in Mahon Point are charging up to E59.99 for some games
and up to E49.99 for some USED games

Game Stop in Douglas court are around 5 to 10 euro cheaper depending on the game.
