I had this discussion with a friend a few days ago: what was the best thing to happen to the internet. I said Google was because it has so-far made Hotmail and most other Email servise providers obsolite, it is making a move on MSN messenger now, it has Google Earth and who could forget the best search engine the internet has to offer

but my friend said Firefox was, Iif I was to say something like that I would say Mozilla as opposed to just Firefox. I mean does anyone who has heard of Firefox still use IE? I don't think so

but I have decided to leave this up to a vote, which do you think was the no.1 god-send to the internet?

Wow, there are so many and I can't remember them all. But the internet has brought a whole host of goodness to the world. Spam EMail and virii have to be the worst, though.

Well whatever about the best things, The worst things are flash animations and spam. Both of which renders the net useless unless you got a Broadband connection, which i am currently without as the wind through my satellite dish off and i'm without sat bb. As for the best things i'd say cheap flights and the sort.
