Boards conspiracy: Bubbles

Reading the numerous accounts of bubbles from different users, i must question the existence of Bubbles. Users cannot even agree on its sex let alone its actions over the past number of years.

So what is bubbles? A deterrent? A diversion? A ploy by the powers of boardsie to stop dangerous muppets (not stupid ones) from actually risking the forums fragile stability by using a fictionary character (Bubbles) as the already established trouble maker, many muppets wont bother trying to hijack the irc channel or a spamfest as Bubbles has already done it...So BIG that they could never compete.


A diversion, reguler boardsie users need both function and community to enjoy the forum, while the numerous specific forums apply the function, Bubbles fills in a vital element of the community...the anti christ. the moral line that a boardsie would have to cross to become a muppet.

The existence of bubbles is questioned, as it is such an ingenius prankster that different people have appeared as it, both male and female.

THen the mythic elements, the near impossible pranks she has achieved with little reprecautions from them. Sure it has been banned numerous times but it has never achieved the same scale punishment from admins as other lessor muppets.




So is Bubbles real? Is there more then one Bubbles? Is it a state of mind of pure arrogence?
