No, I bottle everything up inside... it vents slowly in my mind, manifesting itself as my utter hatred of everyone and everything. (except boards.ie... boards.ie is great)

Ah yah, a good cry helps. I sometimes cry if the pressure is getting too much / if I'm really stressed, which was quite a bit coz I was in final year in uni this year.

Although I shocked myself last October. My bf is a United fan and he was getting me into the whole footy thing. We went over to see United v Arsenal (when they hadn't lost a game for 49 games), and I cried with happiness when United scored those goals and it was obvious Arsenal weren't gonna win - I was over the moon!!!!! Over the moon, go on United :D That was very strange indeed to get so emotional :) Crying over a football match!

Someone mentioned the Armageddon film at the end - it's such a sad ending! I didn't want Bruce Willis to die! :(
Watching TV doesn't really make me cry though I remember I shed a few tears over that ER episode where Dr Greene died. Then again, if you can't cry over that episode you're a monster!
Mr. Nice Guy - I miss Dr. Greene :( Actually, would you believe it - I was looking at an old video tape about three days ago and guess what!!! I found an old version of ER on it with Dr. Greene and Nurse Hathaway on it!!

Oh the memories :( Bring back George Clooney, Dr. Greene, Hathaway, Benton, etc. Bring them back I say!

Oh one last thing! When I was an ickle girl (maybe I was around 9 or so), I used to LOVE Macgyver, oh I worshipped him! And in one episode, he died! Well he didn't, but there was a gun, and it was like he got shot and I thought he died, and I ran behind the door and bawled my eyes out, I was distraught! My mom couldn't console me at all!

I haven't cried in about 10 years. Even if something really bad happens.

In the past year and 6 day since my unlce died i have cried a lot. i go out to seee him quite regularly to have a chat with him and sometimes i break down.im a very sensitive guy. slightest thing will set me off, altho nobdoy knows. only people to see me cry in the last few year were the people at my uncles funeral. been a complete rollercoaster of a year, lost an uncle, was saved by a finding a new friend in college and now face losing her. crying helps tho, gets rid of some of the emotion

one thing i do love is being in abosolute tears laughing. i really love that

Jesus Christ I cry all the time,at everything! The news makes me cry ffs!
Seriously, anything and everything. Talk shows,Harry Potter books, most love songs,sitcoms...The list goes on...
I used to never cry at anything but now I'm at it all the time! When I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm angry, whatever! It's ridiculous!

According to the men club rules( yes another one of those dogy email thingy's) the only time a man should cry is during the crying game and when a heroic dog dies! For me i understand where the op is coming from last year i saw two friends loose their lives to their own hands, at their funerals i did/could not cry. However later on after a few drinks at the second funeral i broke down. I don't know why but thats how it happened. At other funerals i cried but at these two i had other people to support.Imho it is either i felt i had to remain strong for the friends i had to support or else simply age and as an erlier poster mentioned masculinism(sp?). But ya i agree the ability to cry is impportant, not only to grieve but to express total happiness as lady j said, ie laugh till you cry.

    Gav.

I am like mobile in that respect I hate seeing animals getting hurt. It makes me really sad. I hate seeing domestic violence its the worst thing you could grow up in and I hate hearing about a young person commit suicide(any age) for that matter. Shows how bad they feel and how life got to them and shows how much lack of care and understanding they have received from people(not in every case though).
I mean I heard of a woman who commit suicide because her husband was going with another woman. She has a few problems too, but he must be a rite w**nker to do that. He was well in his late forties.
We're all alone in life :p That makes me sad.

May sound like a wuss here but I cried recently over remembering mum before she got ill, I have cried over seeing the news coverage of the people in Niger, before that it was hearing of the death of a close friend. I have cried over work being bad, close friends and relatives dying and close friends and relatives being seriously il.

Today is the 25 year anniversary of my childhood best friends death in a hotel fire, she was only 6 and her whole family were taken at the same time - I always cry on this day.

Its only natural cathy. Crying actually helps restore happiness. Ever notice that sometimes when you want to cry and cant it gets bottled in and when u have a cry it justs releases a lot. I thinks its the bodys physical response to a sort of stress. :)
