Superb stuff from Freddie, smashing Lee all over the shop :D

I've been critical of his batting but this match he's been fantastic!

He's gotta be looking likely for MOTM now. 9 6's so far in the 2 innings from him. Could be some finish tomorrow!

282 for the aussies to win, freddie you hero

The most gripping stuff I've seen since 1981. England to level the series provided Freddie's arm hold up.

Means the Aussies have to get the highest ever 4th innings total at Edgbaston. Flintoff has totally changed the course of this match. Gonna be a cracker of a final innings. come on you Aussies!

Terrific knock, had the biggie gone a few more feet it really would have been "out of the ground"! I guess Vaughan will only use Flintoff if he feels he has to today.

    Mike.

Looking good for Engerland - Aussies 6 down for 136.

Myself and a gang of mates are off to Manchester for the 2nd & 3rd days of the test next weekend :D:D:D:D:D:D

Make that 7 for 137 - Dissie gone - great days entertainment.

Will the umps give them the extra 1/2 hour to finish off the Aussies. Never thought I'd see myself write that on the 3rd day of a test - crazy series thus far.

Now thats how to bowl the final ball!

I bet Vaughan was starting to wish he'd not taken the extra 30 mins with Warnes' double 6. Even Austrialia cant win from here.

    Mike.

Don't be saying things like that..... :D

Tbh, i reckon this all stems from Ponting's decsion to put england into bat first....absolute muppet decsion. What the hell was he thinking?

Freddie really is the heart and soul of England.

    Amazing days cricket :D

Down in the dumps at lunch time to jumping about with joy in the evening

Petulant display from Clarke towards Flintoff shows he in particular was rattled, hope its over after a couple of overs tomorrow

(in answer to Ruggie... ) Na, its that and McGrath's injury + Freddie. Those three things combined have but the Aussie where they are.

Actually you are very very right.

McGrath is a huge loss. Bet england are glad there are back to back tests now as it is unlikely he'll be fit enough to play again till the 4th test.

What a day... What a test match... What a series this is shaping up to be!

    Altogether now:

    Super, Super Fred
    Super, Super Fred
    Super, Super Fred
    SUPER FREDDIE FLINTOFF!!!

Great day's cricket. Flintoff was imense. It's great to see England in a winning position and Australia on the end of one, I was getting fairly sick of them running their mouth at every oppurtunity. England would want to take advantage in the next test as well, seeing as McGrath looks like he'll miss that one too. If Australia win that one the series is over.

Another great days cricket. Brett Lee started off brilliantly, i thought England would be in trouble, i think they were 34-3 at one stage.
    Flintoff was brilliant.
Glad to see Vaughan out so early, he's a ponce.

What about Warnes wicket yesterday! almost as good as his one in '93!

Vaughan has been very weak for the last little while. If he wasn't captain he'd have been dropped by now. Good captain but suffering with the captaincy. The way he was bowled in the 2nd innings was pretty embarrasing for a top order bats man
