Blackouts

    Anyone else get caught up in the blackouts today? They affected most of Dublin, deffo areas are Donaghmede, Coolock, Santry, Glasnevin, Swords. I almost died on a threadmill when it happened lol Only gone for about 45-60min tho

    Gone all over the south east and midlands too, some places up north were affected as well. Power just returned here (Kilkenny) a few minutes ago.

    Lancomms are reportin serious outtage in Dublin atm. Dunno specific areas though. We haven't been affected in Saggart. Server at home (Ballsbridge) is offline atm as are the Redbrick servers in DCU.

    Killester and down into Fairview were all down too. Apparently back up.

    The Darts were out as well, got one at 11 from Bray, there was a delay, said there'd been a power outtage earlier so there was a backlog of trains :)

    Yeah, it went out for a while here (Donnybrook) this morning. Was on PC when it happened. Loud pop and then nothing.

    Thank God nothing is damaged!

    Every area around me was affected. But my house and my office were just dandy.

    My phones have been cut off in the office though... but that's an unrelated matter... but it does make for a nice quite afternoon...
