Flicking on Setanta Sports Ireland

    Setanta Sports Ireland - 429 flicks every few seconds making it impossible to watch.

    Rang Setanta and they are resending the signal but any ideas - tried the usual switch off the digibox and leave for a few minutes.

    Nice on the day a letter arrives detailing a 50% rise in the annual sub. I only subscribe for the Setanta Cup, EL and the premiership so this is the only channel that matters as far as I'm concerned.

    thats what i thought, the classic fob off. the person on the phone then thought "jaysus, hope i dont get him again"

    Classic fob off OK.

    Been back onto Setanta and they say it is a SKY issue.

    Rang SKY and in fairness the guy was very helpful - took me through loads of lnb tests, transponders etc.

    Other channels on the same transponder are fine though.

    bottom line is that the problem is not fixed - it may be my Digibox or else a Setanta broadcast issue. If it was a broadcast issue surely other people would have it (Setanta say I'm the only one)

    Setanta Ireland is the only Setanta channel I'm that bothered with as it has the live EL football, the Setanta Cup and the premiership.
