That's not a haiku, there's no kigo. You don't really need the five - seven - five pattern in English, but you need the kigo.

There is one comic senryu that I like, it's not a haiku as it is not about nature or the seasons and has no kigo, but it is about a human foible as senryu should be. Best yet, it's about the human foible of trying to write haiku and senryu in English.
