Canon pixma Printer models

Have just grabbed one of the last models in stock of the Canon Pixma MP110. It is currently being replaced by the MP130, which came out in March of this year.

I was told that there is no major difference between the two apart from better quality of image and that speed of printing is quicker. Both are multifunction printers. The Canon MP 110 costs 99 euros and the MP130 costs thirty to forty euros more. Seems a lot to pay for basically the same printer, doesn't it?

Anyone know how heavy Canon are on ink? I've had a HP printer in the past and the cartridges were very expensive. At least Canon's cartridges are cheaper, but how heavy they are on ink, I'm not sure...

    I have a Pixma3000 Printer.
It is extremely economical to run ,as the printer uses very little ink.
I buy a set of 4 cartridges for €4 ,thats 1 euro per cartridge and that lasts for about 40 A4 full colour photo printouts.
If you just print text it lasts a lot longer.
Canon printers are the best in running costs.

    Thanks for that!

Just went to the Canon site to see what the difference was between the MP110 and the MP130 and apparently, the only difference is that the MP130 has a memory card slot!!! Seems a bit of a rip-off, well, that's capitalism for you, I guess!
