    [804] 75, 3, 9, 5, 9, 4

    Two 9s dude( is this allowed)

    9 + 4 = 13
    75 - 13 = 62
    5 + 62 = 67
    3 + 9 = 12
    12 x 67 = 804

    Yep - same small numbers cropping up happens all the time on the programme. It's the numbers used more than once in the solution
    which isn't allowed.

    Well done on getting it. It wasn't meant to be easy.

    New one...

    [625] 1, 1, 10, 8, 6,10

    And before anyone asks, yes, you can select all small numbers (which includes 10) on the programme.

    I would bow at the feet of any person who can get this........... 626 is the closest possible in my opinion

    i can get 624
    10 x 10 = 100
    1+1=2
    2 into 8 =4
    6 x 4 = 24
    100 x 6 = 600
    600 + 24 = 624

    no, on the original game you can choose all small numbers.

    I don't think you have to have any large ones - I think you're allowed to say "6 from the bottom please Carol" or even "6 from the top please Carol" - at least you used to be. It was a good way of snookering your opponent if you were ahead before the numbers - though not very sporting.

    Anyway,

    2 5 7 8 10 25 T=717

    closest i deem possible is 624...
    1+1=2
    8/2=4
    10X10=100
    100+4=104

    I don't believe I just said that 7 * 10 = 700 :D

    2 * 5 * 10 * 7 = 700 + (25-8) = 717

    75 6 1 4 9 3

    813

    Both within 1, exact is not possible IMO

    2 5 7 8 10 25 T=717

    5 x 7 = 35
    25 - 8 = 17
    10 x 2 = 20
    20 x 35 = 700
    17 + 700 = 717

    there's only 4 from the top, but yeah, you can choose all 4 of them along with 2 small ones.

    5X7=35
    35X2=70
    70X10=700
    700+25-8=717

    6, 3, 1, 9, 25, 75

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure this can't be done either. (Was my own one, but I didn't check for a solution in advance.) Have tried everything. This was featured on Countdown once, wasn't solved (in the 30 seconds, or by Carol) then either.

    Happens quite a lot, numbers which can't produce a solution.

    By the way, all small numbers or four big, two small can, and has, happened on the show, so a selection like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and a target of several hundred.

    You're joking right?

    75 * (10+1) = 825 + 50 = 875 + 100/25 = 879

    I won't start another one cos I've one unfinished as does derek27

    Oh, I'd forgotten that -

    6, 3, 1, 9, 25, 75
    target = 193

    75*3 = 225
    225-25=200
    200-(6+1)=193

    I think there are a couple of unsolved ones on the board, so I won't muddle things up by posting another one.

    Just to give the alternative on this one. 626 is possible on the other side, but not the elusive 625.

    (((1+6)*8)*(1+10))+10 = 626
