how'd you get out in the end? were you just not strong enough by yourself to unwedge it or were you actually locked in?

It's one of those ancient solid wood doors, the really thick Georgian ones, and it just wedges sometimes. I gave up on it originally, then just went back later and tried again. I'm sure I could have got out if I'd really, really wanted to

Ah cool. I got locked in a car before one morning and couldn't get out so I texted Ray D'arcy and they called it out, rang me back and wanted to help. They rang my bfriend at work for me and got him to let me out of the car! lol
