how'd you get out in the end? were you just not strong enough by yourself to unwedge it or were you actually locked in?

It's one of those ancient solid wood doors, the really thick Georgian ones, and it just wedges sometimes. I gave up on it originally, then just went back later and tried again. I'm sure I could have got out if I'd really, really wanted to

Ah cool. I got locked in a car before one morning and couldn't get out so I texted Ray D'arcy and they called it out, rang me back and wanted to help. They rang my bfriend at work for me and got him to let me out of the car! lol

lol no, its a stupid story! I was killing time before I had to catch a train, and was listening to ray. My bf when leaving to go to work was takin the keys with him and I told him to fire ahead and lock the doors from the outside and I'd just unlock the one I got out of and I wouldn't hafta do the central locking thing (that always confuses me, not that Im stupid, well not really. but one of the those fecking locks always seems to pop back up when Im trying to lock up)

Anywho, tried to get out then and none of the locks would lift up. my battery was nearly dead so I sent 3 texts to ray explaining my situation and it was friday so they decided they had to fix it and rang me back but then my battery died so then about 15mins later they got throu to my bf at work and he let me out! lol

Very funny at the time and I made my train in the end
