Post office : cash on delivery ?

    is there some sort of cash on delivery service with the post office ? i.e you send something via COD and the other person cant collect until they pay ? Can you use this in sending things to Britain ?

    Yes, its called COD :)
    Not sure about britan, but ive done it a few times in the republic. Costs 10euro and the other must have a postal order (available from the post office) as payment

    isn't that some way to get revenge on someone? as in you send them a huge box full of rocks to your biggest enemy and then they have to pay when they collect it and they think they're paying for a big package, and they are, but of rocks...!

    Just called Royal Mail and this service is not offered. And on AnPost´s site, don´t see the option available. I had asked the rep at Royal Mail in case she knew, and she was pretty sure that it was not offered in all of the UK/Ireland.

    Wished they did, as our company would use it a lot once we open offices in England and Ireland. Hmmmm.....

    Does it need to be An Post? The courier companies will most likely do it for you.

    I want to try this on a friend of mine. can you pm the details, no info after 3 google searches which makes it waaaaaay to difficult for me.
