    Nice graphic!

I have mine at the top left so the Gards have to walk across the front of my car, whoops sorry officer! :D

One place you might put it is the top middle of the screen, behind the mirror that way a low sun does'nt dazzle.

    Mike.

I don't think there is anywhere legally it must be. Best off putting it somewhere out of your line of vision of pedestrians, etc.

Fitting them to new cars I put them as far down the passenger side of the windscreen as possible, doesn't block line of sight.

I agree with Squirrel, bottom lefthand (passenger side) corner of windscreen, out of line-of-sight. Look's better there too !

Behind the rear view mirror. It Blocks the sun and acts as an extra long sun visor. also doesn't block line of sight as the rear view mirror is there too

Thats an odd one! I dont think I have ever seen anybody do that! Does it not look a little odd???

Speaking of odd, I saw a learner driver the other day with his/her Learner Sticker on the bonnet just above the License plate!!

My father used to place his discs behind the rear view mirror back in the early 1980's, as many other drivers did then.

Haven't seen too many doing it in recent times - except for rental cars.

I have mine behind the rear view mirror - reason for not picking the bottom left is that a kid, even one of my own, could end up near the car when I'm trying to reverse. A little person mightn't be visible over it. I put the NCT disc in the middle, as its only changed every 2 years and is the least convenient to get to.

Yes, that is the most unintrusive position.
Also its better to use a holder taht is made out of black or transparent plastic over one made out of white.

I have used a black holder for the first time recently, and I have to agree - it looks better from both outside and inside the car (less distracting too).

Where can you get a black three-disc holder in Dublin?

I got mine from the garage where I get my car serviced for free,

But you "local" NCT centre might sell them (the one in Cork does) the common need for a 3 disc holder was brought about by the NCT

There are a lot of people who would consider spending money on fancy lights as sad. If you want a lexus, buy a lexus. YOu bought a mitsubishi colt, deal with it.

Behind the Rearview mirror, I only have two discs because it's a commercial.
It blocks sun and sits in the green tinted band so doesn't look too obtrusive.

I have a white 3 disc holder, and it sucks compared to the 2 disc jobby.

I like the UK way with just one round disc, real smooth.

Remember the clear stuff that people used to cover their schoolbooks and copies with. I was thinking of putting my discs onto some of this, and sticking it to the windscreen. Might look alot better than the current disc holders.

Be a bugger to change them, though.

I have mine in the bottom left. Unfortunately it's a white holder though, Halfraud's only do a white one, it seems (although you can buy a tax disc holder that looks like an F1 fuel cap for the guts of €30....woooo!)

You would have to be mad to buy that.

Bottom Left, under wiper, three perfectly lined-up, individual magnetic round holders - looks class ;)

Considering two of the discs are square, I have my doubts :)
