When you grow up you'll see everything is not as innocent as it seems.

When I was in school, and hitting the 16/17 year mark and the disco's that we did go to were getting invaded by 14/15 year olds, I did what any other 16/17 year old should do now, organise your own disco....
I had two of them in the year, and to be honest, if I'd have known just how well they would have done, I probably would have organised alot more. no alcohol, transition year up only, hundreds of kids in a hotel banquet hall having a great time 'cause there was no pressure to get in and everyone had a laugh! all was good.

Katie, maybe you should try something like this? you'd be surprised how many teenagers would be up for it, if you go to an all-girls school (like I did) get in contact with a boy's school, and organise it with them, people will buy tickets for friends and so on, and at least you are out with people your own age!
Older people expect more when you meet them out, and as grown up as you think you are, it can get scary and you might not want to appear "uncool"... it's noone's fault, but you shouldn't put yourself in a situation that will make you feel uncomfortable.... and being in a nightclub with older boys will put you in that situation at some stage...

Well you really should split the youth of today into two groups , people like you , and then people that don't act retarded .

Hold on did you refrain from using text speak for that post  .

I'd be more supportive of seeing "Banned" under your name, to be honest.

How the hell can a 15 year old afford to go out on the piss anyway?

Ah, so coming onto guys. Gotcha.

So its not about going out on the pull, but only using your wiley "femine ways" (i.e. 15 year old T&A) to get drink. And theres never a chance of anything going wrong.

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhtttttttttt...

maybe you can go to town, but what happens when not everyone gets in? do yu leave one person outside 'cause their ID wasn't as good as yours? They aren't that hard to roganise, you go to a hotel, tell them your story, book the room, they will probably organise the bouncers etc.. in the price, surely at your age you know at the very least one or two aspiring DJ's? then all is settled! you sell the tickets, have people help you sell them for a free ticket, (which they will do) keep a track of all the ticket numbers that you give people though, and it all goes quite smoothly, just give alot of notice, these aren't ones you can organise on a weekly basis, but if you could strike up a deal with a hotel, maybe they would do everything, it's easy money for them really...

This whole, "English language" thing just doesnt get through to you does it? To the thread starter: It wasnt only the older people on boards disagreeing with her wanting to go to clubs, was it?

Yeah sure. It's all grand untill that horny, sexualy deprived guy comes along and get's pissed off because you buggered off after he bought you a drink and didn't get a pice of ass. There are weirdos around. Dublin at night is a very dangerous place.

you do know they only make you come in eary for your protection? what if something happened to you and you lost your friend? you'd have no way home, now I don't know how far from the city you live, but really, you have to be careful, you could be missing a whole day and noone would know?!
