I'm hoping someone can save me a whole lot of work... Does anyone know exactly which particles (tau,muon,pi,etc.) we need to know? I really don't feel like memorizing a table of ultimately useless info :confused: I tried the syllabus but it doesn't give any help (strange or what? considering its what the whole course is…

Ehm the physics course changed quite a bit not that long ago. A lot of the people who read and post to this board would probably not be able to help you.

Far better idea to ask on the Leaving Cert board.
