I'm hoping someone can save me a whole lot of work... Does anyone know exactly which particles (tau, muon,pi,etc.) we need to know? I really don't feel like memorizing a table of ultimately useless info  I tried the syllabus but it doesn't give any help (strange or what? considering its what the whole course is supposed to be based on!?). help would be appreciated!

Ehm the physics course changed quite a bit not that long ago. A lot of the people who read and post to this board would probably not be able to help you.

Far better idea to ask on the Leaving Cert board.
