    It says not to download for a single pc - that's just because they want you to use Windows Update. This is the full package with everything included. If you use Windows Update it only downloads the bits that you need.

    actually on this note, is there a SP3? because i have this program that asks me for SP3

    Nope, but some of the current security patches have SP3 in their description

    2000 and NT4 both had SP3's, if its an older app you're using.

    Doesn't matter that you're not an IT professional. They say that because this is the full version that you can put on a network share to deploy to your whole domain. It's the same SP that you'll get from Windows Update. When you run the exe it extracts the SP to a directory. There'll be a sub-directory called update with an update.msi in there - just run that to install.
