As Is says - a server that went live on Monday is limiting the number of connections to 64.

As in, w | wc shows 64 and no more telnet sessions are accepted. One user logs out, and another can log in.

    Any ideas?

    Look here:
    http://www.die.net/doc/linux/man/man8/makedev.8.html

    search for "pts"

You'll need to create some more pseudo terminals using the MAKEDEV command. Any reason why you are using telnet? It's been kind of surpassed in every sense by openssh...

Are you sure ssh? Is it as simple as that?

About the PTSs? I can't see what else the problem could be.

    Have you tried it?
