Thinking of buying a Compaq laptop from Dixons

Hiya, first post (I think) I'm thinking about getting a laptop at the moment. Would have been interested in the ALDI one but I went there today and they have none left. I was also looking at a Sony Vaio VGN-FS115E for a similar price but seem to remember a friend of mine having bad things to say about the Vaio.
