    .. it's been replaced by a jewellery store afaik. I wonder did it have to close down since they put prices up to a ridiculous level?

    I hope that that was the case. It might act to remind other restaurants to keep their prices in order. Hardly though..

    not only did they make the prices ridiculous, the service was diabolical, even when the place was near-empty

    Yeah I miss it. I was never a regular cos it was too bloody pricey to allow most people to be regulars but it really was a nice place with great food presented well, in a comfortable environment. I used to always enjoy going in for the salmon and egg brunch thingy after a heavy night on the Moet.
