I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on an ipa 3970
but don't have Serial or USB cable - and when it reboots it can't find the (I'm guessing) file transfer thingy.

I've got IR connection and CF flash card and SD memory card - any way I can do the upgrade that way

BTW: on the device it says the OS is
    PocketPC 3,0,11171 (Build 11178) / Windows CE 3.0

Why oh Why can't they just have one simple name for the version and stick to it - I'm fairly sure it's PocketPC 2002 - because that is what the label says.
