Anyone have ideas on a wireless broadband service in the courttown area?

AFAIK there are no commercial wireless broadband providers in Courtown/North Wexford and no dsl availability (outside Gorey) either.

I've heard that a group in Courtown were trying to get together an application under the Group Broadband Scheme but I don't know if an actual application was made for yesterday's deadline. This was being coordinated by Wexford Community Development Board (www.wexfordcdb.ie)

If you have direct Line of Sight to Ask Hill just north of Gorey you may be able to get onto the SouthEastWan but this is a non-commercial organisation and may or may not suit your needs.

And then there is the last resort of satellite "broadband"...
