Give Arnotts a go. I'm not a mam or dad, but I do shop with my brother for spikes who is in that age group. For someone of that age I'd be more inclined to get a more general purpose spike along the lines of a distance or middle-distance spike since it is suitable for doing other events and the child's foot is still developing.

Possibly a little far out for you, but Sports Locker Ltd
Unit 5 , Maynooth Shopping Centre (Next to Tesco) was where my younger brothers always got their spikes. I'm not sure what their range of sprint spikes is like now, but they were always fairly knowledgable and had a good selection when we went there.

    Ta for that, AMZ.

I'm just about to buy spikes for my kids, and never thought of Maynooth, even though I go to NUIM!!

Nay bother. Hope it helps. It's been a while since we bought spikes here though, so hopefully they're still at it :)

I'd say Arnotts, or if you can get to it, Spoetsworld in Terenure, but do your research and go for an all-round spike like Ecksor said

There must be somewhere in Dundalk or Newry that would cater.

Seems a long way to come for spikes.

    As for Sportsworld, Terenure:

Out of the city via St Patrick's Cathedral. It's straight out to Terenure. It's on the right as you approach Terenure village.

If that link came out correctly, then it's beside Eaton Road on Terenure Rd N.
