The June bank holiday weekend is actually the Queen's official birthday, which is the UK national holiday. (I would say na na, but I'm not 100% sure)

well there are a number of national holidays that england, scotland, wales and NI share, i am not aware of any of them being a 'british holiday'.

but you could be right with regards the queens birthday. gord bless her cotton socks, two long weekend bank holidays coming up!

anyway, it was in reference to 'national' holidays :)

besides, i work with danish people, and they seem to get more holidays than eveyone else put together.

I've always found that NUrses have more holidays than anyone else.

It's amazing nearly everytime i get a phone call from my sister or brother-in-law ( both nurses) they are ALWAYS off.
