Staring at the sun

My desk is positioned in work so that the sun hits me right in the eyes, I get mild headaches from this all the time, but my desk can not be moved. What Im asking is does anybody know if this can cause long term damage? Apart from wrinkles from squinting etc...

Ask for a workstation assessment and an eye test at work: you're entitled to both.

It's all a matter of degree, but at least if you find out that you're working in unacceptable conditions they'll have to figger something else out.

This should probably not be a PI, btw.

If it causes you headaches you should speak to your boss about it.
