I dont quite see the point of every asking "how many people have you had sex with"?

Does a guy who has had 10 one night stands be seen as a better 'swordsman' than a guy who has had 2 year long relationships etc etc etc???

Do people still define themselves by how many partners they have had? Does it make a difference whether the person is male or female in answering the above question? Is a girl who has had 10 partners in 10 years a slut? Is a guy who has had just one partner all his life a loser? Reverse the above, and does that make the guy a conquerer, and the girl homely and pure?

Does age come into it? Does where a person comes from come into it? For example, a 30 year old person living in London is likely to have had at least 10 partners, while a person of the same age from Leitrim is more likely to have had 3 at the most. Does that make the London more attractive, more confident etc etc etc.
