    well, simply, which one is the best/most reliable?

    anyone whos had any experience building athlong systems...

    I'm using an Asus board (can't remember the model) It's pretty good, but the built in soundcard isn't much cop. Comes with a cd with all the relevant drivers and was no hassle to setup.

    It's got a phoenix bios and is jumperless so
    overclocking the Athlon will be much easier.

    Whatever you go for make sure it's rated for at least 700mhz.

    on tomshardware now there are
    details on how to build an overclocking
    card which plugs into a connnector
    on the chip so you dont
    have do soldering everytine you want to
    try a new speed ( a lot of soldering to start
    with tho) anyone want to give it a go?
    I would buy one! apparently a lot of chips
    go from 500 to 700 or 750
    l2 cache is not a problem ; ingenious idea
