Homebase in Sligo

    Just wanted to let you all know that Homebase opened in Sligo yesterday, its a fantastic store and I think it is much needed in the area.

    Great news to finally see it open.
    Heading home tonight so I'll pop in tomorrow.
    I know its off topic but do the have a sound and vision section within the shop or is it hardware only ?

    Hiya, they do tv's, some hifi's, dvd players and vcr.
    Mainly Bush.
    Its a great store, so many different things the manager reckons we'll get an Argos soon too.

    Advertised Kitchens at Half Price:

    Traveled to Sligo to visit the new Homebase sale.

    It turns out that the sale is on set joblots of 8 cabinets only.
    and fine print shows that the following are not included;
    worktops, sink, taps, appliances, legs.
    Saw a beautiful Oak Display kitchen.
    Unfortuantely, the oak doors and the carcas seems to
    be the only thing you get for the displayed figure. Bit high too
    at Eur1600...??

    I agree with you, the kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms seem really expensive and it is deceiving when they say half price kitchens and as you say its only 8 units, no sink, I don't think it includes the worktop either and we were told 6-8 week wait from time of ordering!
